Hydrafacial

What is HydraFacial?

There is no doubt HydraFacial is becoming a liquid gold of facials and is one of the most popular in-office facial treatments right now. So what is a HydraFacial? It is a medical-grade Vortex technology four-step resurfacing treatment that includes cleansing, extracting, and hydrating the skin with serums that are infused into pores. The treatment starts with cleansing by removing the dead skin cells and excess sebum from the skin. Next, a mix of salicylic and glycolic acids are applied to the skin to break up any dirt and oil that’s clogging pores. Then, the HydraPeel Tip is used to essentially vacuum out blackheads, dirt, oil and impurities, while hydrating, plumping, and nourishing serums are simultaneously applied to the skin.

What are the benefits of a HydraFacial?

The benefits of HydraFacial are endless, but here are a few: it appeals to nearly all ages, complexions, and concerns. From those who are struggling with acne, those showing signs of aging, and hyperpigmentation, and for older patients with sun damage. The experience and results are consistent, safe and effective. Extraction process is without side effects – HydraFacial offered strict no-torture policy. It is never painful and in fact, guests compare the sensation to a light massage. By combining vortex pressure with a clog-purging solution of salicylic acid, willow bark extract, and anti-inflammatory Tasmanian pepper, there is no squeezing or pressing required, offering a relaxing experience while HydraFacial working on its important task. HydraFacial is infinitely customizable, from choosing a booster specific to your skin needs to suction level for more delicate areas, such as carefully loosen millia or boost circulation to clear dark circles. Last but not least, HydraFacial offers no down time and offers immediate payoff – quickly improving texture and tone, and even help conditions like acne, without any residual irritation or peeling. At the end, the skin will feel hydrated, bright, plump, and clear your complexion, improve signs of aging, help in reducing pigmentation.

How Often Do You Need to Get a HydraFacial?

Although skin looks dewy and glows following the HydraFacial treatment, it is intended to improve skin’s appearance over time. That being said, its effects do last longer than other facials, but in order to maximize the results, it is recommended to receive HydraFacial treatment every four to six weeks.

The HydraFacial is offered at The Spa at Cliff House Maine

At the Spa at Cliff House, there are two choices of HydraFacial service – a 50-minute experience that includes three steps of HydraFacial (cleanse, exfoliate, peel), one booster and LED Light Therapy to penetrate product deep into the skin and reduce the signs of aging. We also offer an 80-minute service that offers detoxification through Lymphatic Drainage of the face, neck and décolleté, followed by three-step HydraFacial, including one booster to benefit your skin’s specific needs, finalized by LED Light Therapy.

Hydrafacial is $295 for a 50 min treatment, please see our menu of treatments for enhancement pricing.
