Health and wellness at The Spa at Cliff House takes many forms. From the rejuvenating effects of the fresh salt air and mesmerizing ocean views, to our therapeutic spa treatments, to a state-of-the-art fitness center, saunas, and steam rooms, to year-round fitness classes, wellness events and packages, guests are most welcome to enhance and continue an existing regime, or start anew, inspired by the energy of our beautiful Maine coast.
Fitness
Our fitness center, accessible to both day spa and overnight resort guests, offers state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment including a premier collection of treadmills, elliptical machines, and stationary bicycles (each outfitted with an individual television and complimentary disposable headphones). Free weights and weight machines allowing for superior strength training, a spacious stretching area offering ample room to warm up and wind down.
Based upon availability, day spa guests can purchase an access pass to utilize the spa locker room amenities ($30 per person). Please inquire with our spa concierge for more information about included amenities and reservations.

Meet The Instructors of Cliff House
Lana Vogestad
Lana Vogestad, 500 RYT/ 200 E-RYT, has extensively taught in Iceland, the Netherlands, Atlanta, GA, and throughout the seacoast. She provides insightful and clear alignment instruction but also encourages the class to be a personal journey to delve inward. Lana has studied with many leading teachers from different yoga lineages and is a senior Barkan Method teacher.
Julia Cantin
Julia Cantin is a group fitness instructor with a certification in Les Mills fitness as well as a secondary group fittness license. Teaching throughout her years in college, her certification specialized in Body- Pump, a strength training, barbell workout. Since coming to Cliff House, she has created her own model to focus on bodyweight exercises centered around the core. Her focus is to provide a deep burn and thorough workout whether it be in a class of 1 or 20 people. Please inquire with our front desk regarding her weekly scheduled group sessions, or about private sessions.
Holly Foley
Holly Foley completed her Comprehensive Certification in Classical Mat and Reformer through Power Pilates in 2021. She has taught throughout the Seacoast and now brings her expertise to Cliff House Maine, focusing on strength, stability, and posture. Each low-impact class, rooted in the principles of Joseph Pilates, works to balance all muscle groups while challenging the core muscles—your "powerhouse"—with every movement.
